About Me
I'm Melissa, but all my friends call me Mel!
I'm a serial creative entrepreneur of sorts. I love cooking, photography, sewing and coming up with new ideas (I have a brain dump google doc full of them!). You can probably find me working in my workout clothes and no makeup. I am in full pursuit to living life to the fullest and with the least amount of baggage, both literally and figuritevly.
I am a Jesus loving military wife who loves a new adventure next side my husband, Brenton and our chocolate Lab, Sadie. In our four years of marriage we have lived in three different states! When we were living in Oklahoma for six months I was gifted my first DSLR camera. I took photos of everything I could and learned as much as I could! I always loved taking artsy photos with my point and shoot digital but this was something different. There was this gravitational pull towards that one thing that I creatively immersed myself in. I was filled with creative energy and it continues to grow. I took one photo, then another and then hundreds. Before I knew it I had friends and family asking me to capture their family's sweet memories.

And then I realized that life was way too short to do anything other than what you love. We are created by the ultimate Creative, God who give us pleasures to pursue and dreams to accomplish for His glory. Well friends, this is my dream...
The adventure continues daily - whether its working through the ups and downs of a new move, navigating through a deployment or capturing a sweet couple on the most intimate day of their lives - I wouldn't have it any other way. And this is where it comes back you my friend. Let's chat a bit more!
About You
Yes you silly.... The one one the other side of the screen. How I wish we could grab coffee right now and talk face to face because I imagine we are pretty similar in a lot of areas of life. You are invested in growing and improving your life. Your story is enveloped with a growing relationship, family or a wedding in the near future. Whatever your life involves, you're getting out of bed in the morning ready to grab the day by the horns (after a cup or two of coffee, of course)! You live with a thrill of hope in the air as you view the challenges to climb over and dreams to create through the day.
But you my dear, whether you are going through a trial or a celebration I know deep down that you are capable! You know why? Because God is able. You are a strong and beautiful human being created by a God who created you in His image. You CAN accomplish your dreams and have everything you could ever need to pursue them.

Yup, this part makes me sing the song, "Just the two of us." You'll learn this about me too, I may not have the best voice but I always am singing and dancing! Anyways, You and I... I want to cheer you on in whatever dreams you have. A role big or small it's all about you and telling your story. I want to be your best friend on not just your wedding day but cheer you on through marriage! I want to be the one who gets to chase your toddler around the park making them squeal pure joy and elation while capturing that moment for you to remember forever! I am here for you and I know we were meant to find each other.
