I describe my photography style as light, airy, and timeless—soft, natural colors that highlight connection and emotion. If you’re looking for dark, moody edits or dramatic lighting, I may not be the right fit—and that’s okay! You deserve someone whose style speaks to you.

And yes, you should ask to see a full gallery—not just a few handpicked images on Instagram. I provide full session previews so you know exactly what kind of consistency, storytelling, and attention to detail you can expect.

Are you experienced with our type of session? (e.g., newborn, family, maternity)

Posing a sleepy newborn is very different from chasing a toddler across an open field—or guiding a couple through a maternity session filled with connection and intimacy. Each type of session requires its own rhythm, pacing, and skill set. Are they well experienced in one genre? Are you looking for posed newborn photos with props or lifestyle newborn photos?

I’ve had the honor of photographing hundreds of families over the past 10+ years, including newborns, expectant mamas, playful toddlers, and full multi-generational family groups. I bring age-specific experience and patience to every session so everyone—from babies to grandparents—feels at ease. My favorite has to be toddlers though. I just love chasing them around and getting them to belly laugh!

What’s included in your session fee?

Understand what’s covered: time, travel, number of images, print rights, outfit guidance, access to a client closet, etc.

Not all photographers include the same services in their pricing, so it’s important to know what you’re paying for.

• A location guide & custom recommendations
• The full photo session experience (no rushing!)
• A set number of fully edited digital images

How do you handle unpredictable situations as a Denver Family Photographer?

Let’s be honest—photo day doesn’t always go according to plan. The weather turns. Your baby has an off day. A sibling is shy or bouncing off the walls! Ask for an example of how they handled a situation. Just like an interviewer would.

I’ve seen it all, and I approach every session with flexibility, calm energy, and zero judgment. If we need to pause, reframe, or simply let your toddler lead the way—I’ll adjust. My goal is always to create a joyful, pressure-free experience where beautiful moments unfold naturally.

What’s your turnaround time and delivery process?

You’ve had your session… now what? Knowing when and how you’ll receive your images matters—especially if you’re planning a gift, announcement, or holiday card.

With me, you’ll receive your full edited gallery within 2 weeks of your session. Your images are delivered via a secure online gallery where you can:

• Download high-resolution images
• Order professional-quality prints, albums, or canvases
• Share with family and friends easily

I’m also happy to guide you through printing heirlooms—because these images deserve more than just living on your phone.
